The article “Oxycodone inhibits myocardial cell apoptosis after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats via RhoA/ROCK1 signaling pathway” by Y. Xie, C.-L. Ge, Z.-Y. Zhang, G.-X. Fei, published in Eur Rev Med Pharmacol Sci 2020; 24 (11): 6371-6379–DOI: 10.26355/eurrev_202006_21535–PMID: 32572934, has been retracted by the Publisher and the Editor in Chief.

Following publication, concerns were raised by a third party regarding the integrity of several figures. An editorial assessment revealed multiple instances of image duplication within the article and image duplication with previously published articles by different authors.

The authors have been contacted and were asked to provide the original data; however, they did not respond to the journal’s correspondence.

As a result, the Editor-in-Chief has lost confidence in the reliability of the data presented in this article and has decided to retract it.
